The concept of total retail loss provides retailers with a comprehensive framework for understanding, measuring and managing a whole range of shrinkage.
The existing definitions of retail loss are no longer functional: they do not take into account the growing complexity and risk profile of retail sales in the 21st century.
This concept, at first glance, can be a little complicated to understand, that’s why The Consumer Goods Forum instructed us to create an illustrated document that would make things a lot easier to comprehend. This project was also made possible by the collaboration of ECR Community and RILA.
